4PeteSake Grant Recipient #2 is Pam Miller.  She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer on November 12, 2007.  She had surgery on November 17th to remove the cancer cells but doctors were not able to completely remove them all.  That means that she will be doing chemotherapy for, at least, one year.  In January, she suffered a setback and had to return to surgery to remove a bowel obstruction.  This operation put her in ICU for five days and necessitated an additional 6-day stay in the hospital.

Pam is a very positive person who would do anything for anyone and never lets her personal health or worries cause her to feel sorry for herself.  She cares for residents at Bluffview Meadows and is always on the go.

She also stays positive through the love and support of her family and friends, especially her mother, Rita, her son Jeremi Schoenmann, her sisters, Deb Tichenor, Cathy Horenberger, her brothers, Jeff and Tim and her close friends, Carol Shifflet, Bonnie Brunmmer, and Pam McElwee.  She is thankful for the help and support 4PeteSake has given her.
